                                                      This simulation helps participants take a critical look at the role culture, community and wealth plays in how we relate to each other. We walk individuals through an experience that places a name and face on the complexity of issues around race and poverty in our communities.

                                                      _CULTURE Stock Simulation
                                                      We have a program that will lend itself well to the goals of Diversity, Team Building and Leadership Development. CULTURE Stock, this simulation deals with clashing cultures and economic status in a fun and emotionally engaging way. This session includes video snippets from the documentary Race the Power of an illusion and Unnatural Causes: Is Poverty Making Us Sick. The basic cost of this 3 hour session is $1500 which includes materials for 25 people.  Please consult with if you have additional participants.

                                                      Objectives:
                                                      • Answer the question "Why are people poor?"
                                                      • Examine the systems of economic disadvantage
                                                      • Explore the concept of Culture and
                                                      • the impact culture has on human behavior
                                                      • have a fun, team building and thought provoking discussion

                                                        • Part II - The neighbor-"HOOD" (20 min)

                                                        • Is poverty making us sick? Video (56 min)

                                                      The size of the organization, the scope and the number of work groups will help to determine that overall cost of this type of intervention. The simulation comes with a full documentation of methods, recommendations and document on CD to be shared with others.
