Building on Commonalities 

Too often we talk about the things that make us different. Race, Culture or gender to name a few. This focus on our differences takes away from our ability to work effectively to deconstruct harmful systems.

Working towards and acknowledging our commonalities save time and and increases our ability to work to achieve goals together. Looking at assets, gifts and strengths of community group engages individuals in the creation new communal goals.
